Supreme Court Validates Sushant Singh Rajput's Father's F.I.R, Upholds CBI Probe In Actor's Death Case

The Supreme Court has finally delivered its verdict on actress Rhea Chakraborthy’s petition seeking the transfer of the Patna case filed against her in the matter of boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput’s death to the Mumbai Police. After hearing all parties in the case the Supreme Court validated the case filed in Patna and also upheld the Bihar government’s decision to transfer the case to the CBI.

The apex court on Wednesday said the F.I.R filed in Patna is correct and the Mumbai police’s probe under Section 174 CrPC has limited jurisdiction. The court also said that anyother F.I.R registered in the case will be dealt by the CBI.

The decision is a big win for Sushant Singh Rajput fans seeking justice for the late actor who died in his Bandra apartment under mysterious circumstances on June 14. The fans are welcoming the SC decision in the case on social media.

Sushant’s father had filed an F.I.R against Rhea Chakraborthy and five others in the matter alleging abetment of suicide and swindling money. The Enforcement Directorate also launched an independent probe suspecting money laundering in the case.

CBI will now carry pout the investigation along with ED based on the Patna F.I.R.
