Sushant Singh Rajput Case: NCB Detains Ex Dharma Employee Kshitij Prasad?

Sushant Singh Rajput's death had caused a nationwide uproar. While reports suggested that he dies by suicide, the CBI is looking into possible causes of his death. Meanwhile, the ED and the NCB had also been looking into various angles that might have pushed him to take this extreme step. The Narcotics Control Bureau is now looking into drugs used by anyone remotely associated with Bollywood. After questioning Rhea's manager Jaya Saha and Rhea herself, along with Rakul Preet Singh yesterday, the Bureau would be questioning Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Deepika Padukone!

Yesterday, the Bureau had also summoned a contractual Dharma Productions employee, Kshitij Prasad. Now, it is being said that the NCB has detained him. There are reports by Times Now that the answers provided by him were unsatisfactory and evasive. He is likely to be arrested soon.

Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by the NCB and kept in Byculla Jail. Her bail petition hearing at the Bombay High Court has been deferred till Tuesday. The TV industry has also come into the radar of NCB, with a case registered against Sanam Johar and Abigail Pande.

Earlier, Kshitij was termed as a 'close aide' of Karan Johar. He then took to social media to clarify that Kshitij was a part of 'Dharmatic Entertainment (sister concern of Dharma Productions) in November 2019 as one of the executive producers on contract basis for a project which eventually did not materialise'. He further said, "Neither I, nor Dharma Productions can be made responsible for what people do in their personal lives. These allegations do not pertain to Dharma Productions."
