After one long month in jail, Rhea was finally granted bail by the Bombay High Court today. Samuel Miranda and Sushant’s housekeeper Dipesh Sawant were also given bail but Showik’s plea was rejected. ANI broke the news on Twitter with a post that read: “Bombay High Court grants bail to Rhea Chakraborty, rejects bail plea of her brother Showik Chakraborty. Narcotics Control Bureau had arrested them in connection with a drugs case related to #SushantSinghRajput death.”

While some reports suggested that Rhea was trying to keep Sushant away from his family, others stated that the late actor was suffering from depression since the past few months and Rhea was the only one taking care of him. The two reportedly got into an argument on 8th June after which Sushant asked Rhea to go back to her house. Rhea has claimed that they were not in contact from 8th to 14th June.
