Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Rs. 70 Crores Worth Of Transactions Looked Into By CBI, Find No Suspicious Activity

Nearly four months after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death the circumstances that led to his death still remain under investigation. The CBI that took over the case in August on orders of the Supereme Court has not yet found any concrete evidence to support the deceased actor’s family’s claims that he was murdered or that his suicide was abetted by Rhea Chakraborty, the prime accused in the case.

Now according to reports, sources at the CBI claim that forensic investigations of Sushant’s bank details also don’t point at any suspicious activities or suggest that money was siphoned from his accounts. According to an Indian express report, the central agency looked into the transactions from Sushant’s accounts from the last 5 years. They discovered that Rs. 70 crores were transacted from his accounts in this duration and on Rs. 55 lakhs of these expenses is associated with Rhea Chakraborty which was mostly spent on vacations, spas and gifts.

It has apparently been found that the majority of the actor’s expenditure was on properties, cars, bikes, staff salaries, taxes, and payment to PR agencies. Also there has no link been discovered between his former manager Disha Salian and his death yet.

Apart from this the publication learnt from sources that the AIIMS finding on Sushant’s cause of death fit the agency’s initial findings after they recreated the circumstances of the actor’s death at his apartment. They reportedly point to suicide as a cause of death. The CBI will reportedly now look into any triggers that might have played part in the actor’s death which include professional rivalries or the impact of drug use on his mental health.

In July Sushant’s father had filed an F.I.R claims Rhea Chakraborty siphoned Rs. 15 crores from the late actor’s account and accused her of abetting the suicide of the actor. Although no evidence yet points out to a possible cause of abetting his suicide the actress still remains under the scanner.
