Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Siddharth Pithani Will Be Named Co Conspirator, Rhea Chakraborty Will Not Be Actor’s Nominee

After Sushant’s father Mr KK Singh filed an FIR with the Bihar police many new facets in the case have been coming out. The near and dear ones of the late actor have stated that it wasn’t a suicide but a murder.  

And the latest is, Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate Siddharth Pithani will be named a co-conspirator in the case. According to Pinkvilla Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer stated, after Siddharth changed his stance, they suspected it to be murder and not abetment to suicide by Rhea Chakraborty.  

He went on to state that they would be adding his name to the FIR soon.  

The senior advocate was then asked about Rhea Chakraborty being the nominee of Sushant SIngh Rajput’s insurance policy the senior advocate stated that she cannot be the nominee because the Indian law doesn’t permit a person who is in a live-in relationship with the deceased to be the legal heir without a will.  

Meanwhile, It was at 11 AM on 19th August, ‘20, that a single judge bench of Justice Hrishikesh Roy pronounced the verdict in favour of CBI probe in Sushant's case. 

Earlier, there were two hearings of Rhea Chakraborty that Justice Roy presided over where the Jalebi actress urged for a transfer of the case to the Mumbai police officials. In the earlier hearings, the Supreme Court had reserved the decision and had asked all the parties to submit their findings in the case. 

And now while ruling in favour of a CBI investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the apex court has asked the Mumbai police to cooperate.
