    Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is still under investigation by the CB. The central agency on being prompted for a status update on the case by BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has filed a reply stated that the no aspect has been ruled out yet in the case.

    Soon after the 34-year-old Bollywood actor’s death several theories suspecting murder and suicide did the rounds. The deceased actor’ family filed an F.I.R alleging that he was murdered after which the Supreme Court handed the case over to the central agency in August.

    . In October the All India Medical Institute committee assigned the task of forensic examination in the actor’s death case had ruled out all theories that the actor was murdered. There have been not many updates from the CBI on the case since.

    With the probe having spanned over 145 days already and with no clarity, Subramanian Swamy wrote to the Prime Minister’s Office to seek an update who then followed up with the agency. In October the All India Medical Institute committee assigned the task of forensic examination in the actor’s death case had  ruled out all theories that the actor was murdered.

    In their reply, the CBI official investigation the case revealed, “The CBI is conducting investigation in a thorough and professional manner using latest scientific techniques. During investigation, all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as on date."

    The central agency further added, "During investigation, advanced mobile forensic equipment including latest software have been used for extraction and analysis of relevant data available in the digital devices and also for analysis of dump data of the relevant cell tower locations related to the case.”

    With regard to the complaint filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family the agency revealed, "During investigation, all the witnesses have been examined to understand the circumstances and apprehensions raised by the complainant and his family members and other independent sources. Intensive and thorough investigation has been carried out in this regard.

    The reply also specified that the CBI officials on the case have so far visited Aligarh, Faridabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Manesar and Patna in connection with the case. "The investigating team and senior officers have visited the place of incident on numerous occasions for better understanding of the circumstances related to the incident. The experts of CFSL, New Delhi, considered the best in their field in India, also visited and examined the place of incident. The experts also carried out simulation exercise," the statement added.

    Sushant Singh Rajput died in his Bombay based apartment on the afternoon of June 14 while his roommates and household helps were at the residence. The Mumbai Police during initial investigation had concluded the case to be one of suicide.
