Sushant Singh Rajput Death Probe: Maharashtra Minister Anil Deshmukh Wants CBI To Reveal Findings At The Earliest

Sushant Singh Rajput death still remains a mystery as far as the investigation around the circumstances of his passing is concerned. The actor whose death gave way to grief, concern, conspiracies and a call for justice is still a touchy subject in Bollywood while CBI continues probe the matter on the instructions of the Supreme Court.

Anil Deshmukh, Maharashtra Home Minister on Sunday sought answers on the case from CBI and requested that the central agency reveal their findings based on their five months of investigation. He said, “It has been more than five months since the investigation began but CBI has not revealed if actor Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered or he died by suicide. I request CBI to reveal findings of the investigation at the earliest.”

The CBI was handed over the case by the Supreme Court in August after the deceased actor’s family filed an F.I.R alleging that the 34-year-old actor was murdered. Prior to this the Mumbai Police was looking into the case and had declared that Sushant had died by suicide after investigation.

The actor’s death case branched out into a series of investigations with the Enforcement Directorate looking into the money laundering angle of the case while the Narcotics Control Bureau stepped in to investigate a drug angle that cropped up during the death probe.

Sushant died in his Bandra based apartment on June 14.
