Sushant Singh Rajput Dies, His Team Issues A Statement: Request Fans To Keep Him In Their Thoughts And Celebrate His Life

Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Carter Road residence in Mumbai today and his death has sent Bollywood and fans in a state of shock. The 34-year-old actor who lived alone was found hanging by his maid who then informed the police. The actor’s mortal remains have been taken to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem.

The actor’s PR team issued a statement asking his fans to celebrate his life and but also give his family privacy in this difficult time. “It pains us to share that Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us. We request his fans to keep him in their thoughts and celebrate his life, and his work like they have done so far. We request media to help us maintain privacy at this moment of grief.”

It has been reported that the actor was suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment for the last 6 months. He was last seen in the Netflix film Drive and also Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichore a film that encouraged youngsters to look at the brighter side of life in trying times.

There has been no information about a suicide note left by the actor. Several Bollywood celebrities have expressed their disbelief on social media on the actor’s sudden death.
