    Sushant Singh Rajput Had Watched His Last Film Dil Bechara While Dubbing, Reveals Filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra

    Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara is a week away from its digital release on Disney+ Hotstar. The film’s trailer and songs have been breaking records on digital platforms and is special for his fans as it holds great emotional value. In a question-answer session on Twitter, film’s director Mukesh Chhabra was asked if Sushant ever saw the film after it was completed and the filmmaker gave an emotional response.

    Mukesh in his reply revealed that Sushant had seen the complete film when he was dubbing for it but did not see the final cut which he wishes the actor had seen. He said that while Dil Bechara is his first film he doesn’t know whether to be happy about it or sad adding he cannot understand what he’s feeling.

    The filmmaker and casting director was dear friend of Sushant and had revealed in an earlier interview that Sushant had promised him he will star in his first film said yes to Dil Bechara even before reading the script.

    Dil Bechara is an adaptation of the book Fault In Our Stars and was earlier titled Kizzi Aur Manny and also stars Sanjana Sanghi. The film which was originally intended for a theatrical release was delayed a few time till it was finally announced for a direct OTT release after Sushant’s death.
