Sushant Singh Rajput Once Told Ankita Lokhande He Could Cast Aside Suicidal Thoughts In 15 Mins. Felt It Was Wrong

Ankita Lokhande has finally spoken up about her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Apart from the actor’s family, Ankita was one of the closest people he had and had seen him through the better part of his career in both films and TV. Ankita and Sushant dated for about seven years and the actress claims that he was against the idea of someone ending their own life.

Rejecting the theory that Sushant was depressed Ankita recalled an incident where they once spoke about someone committing suicide. Talking to Aaj Tak, Ankita shared how the actor felt about suicide and recalls, "I remember an incident. It's a very old incident. We were just sitting and I think someone had died by suicide. So we were talking how can someone just end their life by suicide. And he told me, 'If ever there comes a day when I get a thought like this, I'll change it in 15 minutes and get over it. How can someone die by suicide? I will make that person understand if he's going to attempt suicide. I'll tell him that it's very 'wrong' to die by suicide. Now that was his thought process. So it's very difficult to understand that a guy who was so strong-headed, balanced, career-oriented and who knew what he wanted in life, is suddenly no more and everyone comes to a conclusion that he was going through depression....my brain is not really accepting it.”

In her various statements to the media, Ankita has so far cleared up the fact that Sushant was in fact on good terms with filmmakers Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ekta Kapoor. She has also said that they did not interact during the four years after their breakup expect one brief exchange on social media.

Talking about Rhea Chakraborty Ankita said that while she personally doesn’t know much about the actress or her relationship with Sushant, she questions why Rhea wasn’t by the actor’s side when he needed someone.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father has filed an F.I.R against Rhea Chakraborty who was dating the late actor and alleged that she abetted the suicide.
