Sushant Singh Rajput Was Admitted To The Hospital In November, Had Denied Having Suicidal Thoughts At The Time

The circumstances and reasons behind actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death still remain unclear even after nearly three months. A statement recorded by the Mumbai Police of one of the psychiatrists treating Sushant has now come to light and according to him Sushant was admitted to the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai on November 27 after Shruti Modi, the late actor’s former manager, informed him that he was in dire need of treatment.

NDTV quotes the psychiatrist from the statement as saying, ‘At that time, he told me things like he is not getting sleep or has any appetite, he doesn't like anything in life now, he doesn't wish to live and he is afraid all the time. On that, I primarily diagnosed the ailment Sushant Singh Rajput was suffering from to be depression and anxiety. He told me that he is experiencing these symptoms for the last 10 days."

While Sushant said he had symptoms of depression from the past 10 days the doctor concluded that the Kai Po Che actor had been suffering from the disease for a very long time based on the symptoms and severity of his disease.

The doctor asked Sushant if he was having suicidal thoughts and the actor had told him no. On November 30, according to the statement, the actor expressed ‘a strong desire’ to go home, and upon consultation and promise that he would take his medicines he was discharged. Rhea Chakraborty is said to be there when he was relieved from the hospital.

In mid-January the doctor was approached again by Rhea who asked if the actor can be admitted again but since the doctor was travelling he suggested Rhea contacts another expert. She then said the actor doesn’t want to be admitted and would go to Chandigarh to see his sister.
