The incredibly talented Sushant Singh Rajput left the entire nation in shock on 14th June when he breathed his last. The actor was last seen on the big screen in Nitesh Tiwari’s super hit comedy drama Chhichhore, alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty and others. Sushant won our hearts as Anirudh aka Anni and left us wanting more with his versatile performance. He shined on the silver screen like the true superstar that he was.

On hearing about his sudden demise, Sushant’s co-stars Varun, Tahir, Prateik, Tushar Pandey and Saharsh Kumar Shukla took to their social media handles to remember their friend, co-star and a phenomenal actor with heartfelt posts and beautiful memories from behind the scenes. Naveen, who played the role of Acid in the film, shared a special picture with Sushant and stated that he is extremely heartbroken with the news. He wrote, “I met him on the sets of Chhichhore. He did not make me feel like it was my first film and by the end of the film he became like a brother to me. The manner in which we have lost him is extremely shocking. I feel numb at this point and not in a position to talk more. I really wish he finds peace.”

Sushant was like a younger brother to Nitesh Tiwari and his wife Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and the director exchanged messages with him just 10 days ago. Speaking about the same to Mumbai Mirror, the filmmaker revealed that it was a casual chat and the actor inquired about Nitesh’s family. Sushant also shared that he’s learning coding and Nitesh told him how his son Aaradhya is learning it too. They ended their conversation with the words ‘Keep in touch’.
