Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death: Actor’s Post Mortem Reports Confirm Death By Hanging

Sushant Singh Rajput is no more. The actor was found dead yesterday in his house in Mumbai’s Bandra. He was found hanging, but his uncle claimed that there might be foul play. Police too said that they will wait for the post-mortem reports to carry out further investigation. Sushant had tested negative for COVID-19 and his post mortem was carried out late Sunday night in Cooper Hospital and now, the results are also here.

The post mortem reports have confirmed that the cause of death was hanging. According to the autopsy report, prima facie it has been found that it is a case of suicide. His organs have further been sent to JJ hospital to check for the presence of any poisonous substance.

The reports seem to confirm that Sushant had indeed died by suicide. His maternal uncle had suspected foul play and had told ANI, “We don't think he committed suicide, police must investigate the matter. There seems to be a conspiracy behind his death. He has been murdered.”

Sushant’s death has left the entire industry shocked and has also opened up the much needed conversation on mental hellath. Sushant had apparently been suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment for the last six months at Hinduja Hospital. He was just 34 years old.
