Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death: Father Reveals He Had No Idea About Actor’s Depression, Only Knew He Felt ‘Low’

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has come across as one of the biggest shocks in the industry. It has made us glaringly aware of a number of issues prevalent in Bollywood. From mental health to nepotism, everything is now being questioned and discussed. Police have also been recording statements of the actor’s near and dear ones. They recorded his father’s statement as well.

According to the police, Sushant’s father had no idea that the actor was suffering from depression. According to a report in The Indian Express, a police official said, “The family informed us that they do not know why Sushant was depressed and also did not mention if they had any suspicion on anyone.” K.K. Singh also had said that though he knew that his son often felt low, he had no idea about his depression and him undergoing treatment for the same.

The police are also investigating the professional rivalry angle. They do not suspect any foul play, but would be questioning some more people again.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away at the age of 34 years. His post mortem mentioned that the reason of death was asphyxia due to hanging. His uncle had claimed that there might be foul play involved and also asked for investigation.
