Sushant Singh Rajput's Demise: Actor's Family Files Caveat In Supreme Court After Rhea Chakraborty Filed Petition For Investigation Transfer

Sushant Singh Rajput's Family has filed a caveat in the Supreme Court last night after his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition in the apex court seeking the transfer of investigation from Bihar to Mumbai. According to a report in Republic, the family sought that Rhea’s petition not be allowed to be heard "ex-parte" in their counter-petition. The family lawyer, Mr. Vikas Singh will be present for the proceedings.

Earlier in a statement to PTI, Vikas Singh had said, “If she (Rhea) has moved the apex court, she should have filed a petition seeking CBI investigation. FIR is registered in Patna, now she (Rhea) has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking stay and transfer of investigation to Mumbai. Isse jyada kya proof chahiye ki (what more proof is needed that) somebody in Mumbai Police is helping her.”

A few days back, Rhea had introduced herself as Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend and also appealed to Amit Shah to initiate a CBI probe into the actor's death. On the night of 28th July, Sushant's father, Mr. KK Singh had filed a 6-page F.I.R against Rhea in Bihar and accused her of abetment of suicide. Following it, a team from Bihar has come down to Mumbai. It was also said that the actress was absconding, however, it proved to be just a rumour.
