Sushant Singh Rajput's Demise: Mahesh Shetty To Be The Prime Witness; Reveals Late Actor's Equation With Rhea Chakraborty

Sushant Singh Rajput's co-star from Pavitra Rishta, Mahesh Shetty, who was also one of his closest friends, has now recorded his statement to the Bihar Police. Reports are also claiming that he would be the prime witness of the case.

According to a report in CNN News 18, Mahesh Shetty has made some key revelations while recording his statement with the police. A source has informed the channel that he has asked Sushant to speak to his father but he had apparently said that Rhea won't allow him to do that. The Jalebi actress also allegedly checked the actor's phone regularly and she and her mother wanted the actor to change his entire team. Sushant was not happy about it too. The Police have also decided to make him the prime witness in the case.

Mahesh Shetty has been a very close friend of Sushant's. In fact, it has been said that the actor had called him a few hours before his death, however, he couldn't pick his phone. He and Sandeep Ssingh were the ones to actually enter his room after his death too. While he has accused Rhea too, like Sushant's father K.K. Singh, after whose F.I.R Bihar Police started the investigation, another friend of Sushant's said that he was being pressurised to speak up against Rhea.
