Sushant Singh Rajput's death has become the topic of everyday discussion now. The actor was found dead in his apartment on 14th June, and ever since, investigations are on to understand whether the actor really suffered from depression or there was foul play in his death. Rhea Chakraborty, in a recent interview, has claimed that Sushant's family was aware of his mental health, a statement that negated the late actor's father's claims. Now, the family lawyer, Vikas Singh, has addressed these conjectures in his press conference today.

Vikas Singh said, "Sushant's 3 sisters & his father are pained by a negative, false campaign against the family. The campaign relates to his mental health. In spite of what has been said in FIR, it's being carried that family knew about his depression& concealed it." He also talked about whether the actor had been suffering from depression since 2013. He called it a one-off incident and said that he did feel low, but was perfectly fine after consulting a doctor and taking some medicines, adding that feeling low one time can not be equated to suffering from depression.

Talking about Priyanka suggesting him medicines in case of an anxiety attack in their chat, Vikas Singh said, "Some of the prescriptions shared at some point mentioned tablets being taken and not the disease. It is in these circumstances that when Rhea left Sushant, that his sister sent him a prescription." He claimed that mental health issues started after Rhea had entered his life and she never disclosed what treatment he was receiving or what medicines he had been taking.

Reports have also been doing the rounds that Priyanka was made a nominee in Sushant's investments and that the family received money after the actor's death. Vikas Singh clarified that the family has received no money, since the actor had taken his own life. The family has to build a case of murder or abetment to suicide.

The CBI is currently investigating the death.
