    Sushant Singh Rajput's Family Lawyer Says Mumbai Police Refused To Register FIR, Forced Them To Name Production Houses

    Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has taken a new turn as the actor’s family is now proceeding with the case with the Patna Police. KK Singh, Sushant’s father has registered an FIR after 40 days of the actor’s death alleging that actress Rhea Chakraborty and five others abetted the actor to commit suicide.

    The family’s lawyer Vikas Singh has now come forward and stated that the Mumbai Police refused to register an FIR in the matter as per the family’s request and wanted them to point to various production houses to get them involved leading the case in a different direction. He has also clarified that the Patna Police was also hesitant at first to register an FIR till CM Nitish Kumar & Minister Sanjay Jha explained the matter to them. The family wants Patna Police to handle the case but hasn’t made any appeal for a CBI inquiry.

    Four cops from Patna arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday to collect the case dairy and all the evidence collected by Mumbai police in the matter. Meanwhile, actress Rhea Chakraborty will be applying for an interim bail in the matter and after the news of the FIR broke out her lawyer paid her a visit at her home and stayed for nearly three hours.

    According to the Mumbai police, Sushant’s family was questioned but they never raised any concerns related to the actress.
