In a report shared by IANS, Sushant’s farmhouse caretaker Raees revealed, “On June 14 afternoon, I saw the news that Sushant sir has committed suicide on TV news channels and at first I could not believe what I was seeing. Just a day before, he had transferred money to my account to take care of his pet dogs, Amar, Akbar and Anthony.” He further shared that Sushant “was planning to shift to the farmhouse and practice organic farming”. Raees went on to add that the late actor frequently visited the farmhouse and special occasions such as Rhea’s birthday, her father’s birthday and Sushant’s birthday were celebrated there.

However, Sushant’s health took a toll after the Europe trip in October 2019 and he stopped going to the farmhouse for almost 2 months. Raees also stated, “He had initially rented the farmhouse in 2018. After a year, when the time came for renewal of the contract, he wanted to buy it. He was planning to shift to the farmhouse permanently and the place was being prepared accordingly. Even though the agreement had expired in May 2020, Sushant sir had made advance payment for the months of June and July.” The actor was supposed to shift to the farmhouse in March for a few months, but the trip got cancelled.

Sushant had celebrated his birthday at the farmhouse this year with girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, Shruti Modi, Samuel Miranda and other friends. Raees revealed that the actor last visited in the end of February with Dipesh Sawant, Siddharth Pithani, Neeraj and a cook named Keshav. He also shared that Sushant’s pet Rottweilers Amar, Akbar and Anthony are still at the farmhouse, up for adoption.
