Sushant Singh Rajput’s Father And Sister Record Statements With CBI, Both Claim ‘It’s A Murder’

The Enforcement Directorate had earlier interrogated Rhea chakraborty and her family members [which include brother Showik Chakraborty, father Indrajit Chakraborty] on charges of money laundering. ED has also recorded statements of Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani and Rhea Chakraborty’s manager Shruti Modi.

And now, the latest is, the CBI has begun interrogating Sushant’s family members. According to a Times Now report Sushant’s father and sister have recorded their statements with the CBI. Sushant’s brother in law OP Singh too was present during the investigation which happened in Faridabad.

Times Now has it that Sushant's dad Mr KK Singh and his daughter, both are calling the death of Sushant Singh Rajput a murder and not a suicide. It is noteworthy here that, the actor's dad had filed an FIR in Patna accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetment to suicide.

The report further states, Sushant's father and sister in their statement to the CBI claimed that it's a ‘murder’. The Times Now report quoted the family members of Sushant as saying, "Looking at the present circumstances it appears that it is a case of murder hence the CBI should look into this case as an aspect of murder not as an abetment to suicide."

All these new developments in the case have been happening since the late actor’s father had filed an FIR with the Bihar police against Rhea an five others. Mr KK Singh [Sushant’s father] accused the Jalebi actress of abetment to his son’s suicide, felony, breach of trust and money laundering. According to Times Now, KK Singh has also made some ‘sensationalising’ claims to the CBI. The portal further reported that the family has been keeping a close eye on every minute detail pertaining to the case that has been coming out in the public domain.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty has filed another Supreme Court petition, in an 11-pager affidavit stating that the case is ‘being blown out of proportions because of the Bihar elections’.
