Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister Asked Him To Take Unprescribed Medication On June 8? Rhea's Lawyer Says It's A Crime

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has another mystery to resolve. The actor’s family has so far maintained that they were not aware of Sushant Singh Rajput’s mental health condition and infact cast aside the depression theory as they registered a case against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna.

New chats between Sushant and his sister Priyanka have now come to light from the morning of June 8 suggesting that not only did she know that the actor was unwell but also got him to take medication without prescription or consultation.

The message exchange shared by India Today between Sushant and his sister, the actor had also shared his apprehension that no one will give him the meds without a prescription. To that Priyanka replied, “My friend here is a renowned doctor who can get you connected to the best doctor in Mumbai all confidential.. so don't worry.”She also shared a prescription and added, “It's of Delhi but it should not matter . If anything, one can say it is on online consultation.”

As the exchange forund it’s way in the public, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Manshinde has said that not only did the family lie in front of the Supreme Court but also gave the actor medicines illegally. He says, "Now, Priyanka's messages reveal that they were aware of Sushant Singh Rajput's condition in November 2019. On top of that, under the mental health act, the doctor has committed a crime by administering a drug that shouldn't be prescribed without proper consultation. Secondly, Sushant is mentioned as an OPD patient which is false. Though online consultation in pandemic times is allowed for smaller issues and for known patients, but these don't apply in Sushant's case. Therefore, this is forgery. And all electronic messages are admissible in the court of law."

The advocate argued that Rhea has told various agencies that she warned Sushant not to take unprescribed medicines and that led to a fight which is also when the actor asked Rhea to leave.
