Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister Neetu's Statement Did Say He Was Suffering From Depression Since 2013, Consulted A Psychiatrist

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment on the 14th of June and the Bandra police, who were investigating the case, said that the actor might have taken his life due to depression. His medical reports suggested that he was taking medicines for clinical depression. However, the case took an entirely new turn when the actor's father, Mr. K.K. Singh alleged that the family was entirely unaware of Sushant's depression and filed an F.I.R against Rhea Chakraborty. Rhea had been silent, but finally spoke in an interview to reveal that the actor had consulted a psychiatrist for depression back in 2013, and that his family was aware of it.

Recently, after the interview, Sushant's chats with sister Priyanka were leaked, where she texted him about medicines that he would have to take in case of an anxiety attack. And now, it has been revealed that in a statement released on June 16th, two days after the actor's death, his sister Neetu did reveal about Sushant's mental health in 2013 and confirmed that he had consulted a psychiatrist in Andheri.

In her statement, Neetu had said, “In 2013, my brother Sushant Singh Rajput told me and other sisters that he was feeling very low. He used to come out of this once we all convinced him. In 2013, he consulted a psychiatrist in Andheri. After that, he became composed and his career was progressing well. He had attained huge success in very little time.”

In fact, in a statement recorded to the Bandra Police, Priyanka, Neetu and one of his brother-in-law had said that Sushant did suffer from mental health ailment.
