Sushant’s Family Lawyer Calls Kangana’s Statement ‘Unimportant’; Says “She's Trying To Further Her Own Agenda”

Amongst many other Bollywood celebs, the bold and beautiful Kangana Ranaut has been constantly voicing her opinion on Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise through social media. She has often spoken about how he must have been ill-treated in the film industry by Bollywood biggies, like she was at the beginning of her career. In some of her statements against nepotism, Kangana also referred to Swara Bhaskar and Taapsee Pannu as ‘needy outsiders’, ‘B-grade actresses’ and even called Ayushmann Khurrana a ‘chaploos outsider’.

However, Sushant’s family had clearly stated in the FIR that his death had nothing to do with the industry and felt that the theories were derailing the entire investigation. Talking to Pinkvilla, Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh stated that Kangana’s statement was ‘unimportant’. He shared, “She's trying to further her own agenda and attack people she has a personal issue with to settle her own scores. She seems to be on her own trip. The family's FIR has nothing to do with her claims at all.”

Vikas further stated, “Everyone knows nepotism exists in the industry. Sushant too must have faced discrimination. But that can't be the primary course of investigation in this case. Those can still be contributory factors, but the main case is on how Rhea and her gang tried to completely exploit and finish Sushant.”

Sushant’s girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty has been accused of abetting the late actor’s suicide. Claims also allege that she was only with the actor for financial reasons. CBI is currently investigating the actor’s case.
