Sushmita Sen Reveals How She Told Her Daughter Renee That She Was Adopted And It Is A Parenting Advice Everyone Must Know

Sushmita Sen has been an inspiration with the many decisions made in her career as a Bollywood actress and in her personal life. A single mother of two daughters Renee and Alisah, who she had adopted it is very hard to think of the moment when she told her kids that they were not her biological children. In a long chat with Rajeev Masand the actress spilled the beans on how exactly she came upon telling her elder daughter Renee that she was adopted.

The Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya actress played a little game of this or that with Renee, who is now 18, asking her to pick between two things and slipped in the question if she prefers biological or adopted. Before answering Renee asked Sushmita if she was adopted to which the actress said yes, and was quickly added, because biological is boring.

To Sushmita’s amazement, Renee went around telling her biological friends that they were boring. The actress added that she wanted her daughters to know about their adoption when they were 18 but when Renee turned 16 she explained to her that she had the right to know who her biological parents were and could go to court to get that information when she turned 18.
