Sushmita Sen's daughter Renee has this to say on facing questions about her real mother

Sushamita Sen’s daughter Renee is all grown up and is already following in her footsteps to become an actress in Bollywood. While the young aspiring actress is her mother’s pride and joy, the fact that she is adopted led social media users to get intrusive about her personal life and ask her about her biological mother.

Renee who made her debut in the short film Suttabazi has now spoken up about dealing with such queries and told PeepingMoon.com, "You know, on my Instagram, I was asked this question: 'Who's your real mother?' I would just like to say, 'please define real mother'. What is a 'real mother?'"

The young actress further said, "See, I understand that people are interested in our lives, in what we eat. It's fine, but I do feel like people need to be nicer to each other. My truth is very out and open. But what if it's someone else? We don't know how it'll affect them. So, yes, I feel like we must be a little sensitive. For me, it's different, because I've grown up with this... For me, it doesn't matter. But for someone else who wants to keep their life private, we don't know how your question can affect them. Let's not ask until a person tell you themselves."

Sushmita Sen had revealed in an interview once that she had the details of Renee’s biological parents in an envelope and offered to give it to her when she turned 18 and also was willing to have her meet them if she wanted to know more. Renee however declined Sushanita’s offer after turning 18 and said she didn’t want to know who her real parents were.
