Swara, who is known for her strong comebacks, wrote a tweet lambasting Yadav. Swara’s tweet, roughly translated to English, reads, “Respected MP Lallu Singh Ji, You have been someone who represented the land of Purushottam Shree Ram Chandra in the Lok Sabha! ‘Liking’ a tweet that harasses a woman, reflects rapist tendencies and can be considered a form of cyber sexual harassment according to the cyber laws of the country only encourages such behavior even further. You are of my father’s age, part of this country’s parliament- You should set an example of respecting women, uphold the ideals of Ram Rajya and not laud the common ruffians. It is not becoming of you or suited for someone of your stature and portfolio.”

Lallu Singh also reacted to Swara’s tweet and issued his apology for the mishap. The minister wrote a tweet, which translated into English, reads, “This was an unfortunate incident that happened when I was scrolling through and for that, I apologize.
