Swara Bhaskar Supports Sushant’s Girlfriend Rhea; Says She Is Being Subjected To A Bizarre, Dangerous Media Trial

Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has been under the radar ever since her boyfriend and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last. While netizens have been constantly trolling her, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against her for abetting the suicide. Rhea and her brother Showik have also been accused of allegedly taking over Sushant’s life and finances. Well on Monday the actress moved the Supreme Court with a fresh plea, alleging media trial and attempts to pronounce her guilty for Sushant’s death.

While many celebs and trolls are still pointing fingers at Rhea, accusing her of being involved in Sushant’s suicide case, Swara Bhaskar has come out in support of the Jalebi actress. Swara took to her social media handle to share her opinion and wrote, “Rhea is being subjected to a bizarre & dangerous media trial fuel led by hugely problematic impulses of mob justice. I hope the Hon’ble #SupremeCourt will pay heed & take fake news spinners & conspiracy theorists like Repooplic, Poopindia & others to task. Let the law decide.”

For the uninitiated, the fresh affidavit that Rhea filed in the top court states, “The sad incident of the death of Sushant, who hailed from Bihar, unfortunately occurred just before the elections in Bihar. This has led to the issue being blown out of proportion. Actors Ashutosh Bhakre (32) and Sameer Sharma (44) also reportedly committed suicide, yet no whisper about the same in power corridors. In Sushant’s case, the Bihar Chief Minister is reported to be responsible for registration of FIR in Patna.”
