Swara Bhaskar Takes A Jibe At Kangana Ranaut's Padma Shri Statement After AIIMS Rules Out Murder In SSR's Case

Recently, Swara Bhaskar has taken a jibe at Kangana Ranaut, who had previously stated in an interview that she would return her Padma Shri if she is unable to prove the claims she has made about Sushant Singh Rajput's demise.

Earlier Kangana stated that Sushant did not die by suicide, he was killed. Not only this, but the actress also slammed Bollywood’s ‘nepotism gang’ and initiated the insider-outsider debate. However recently, the AIIMS forensic panel ruled out the possibility of ‘murder’ in their report submitted to CBI.

Earlier today, Swara Bhaskar took to her twitter handle and mentioned in a tweet how ‘some people’ have claimed that they would return their awards if their statements in the Sushant death case were proven wrong.

“Hey! Now that both CBI and AIIMS have concluded that #SushantSinghRajput tragically died by suicide... weren’t some people going to return their government bestowed awards???,” Swara wrote in her tweet.

This came after, Kangana in an interview with Republic TV said, “They (Mumbai Police) summoned me, and I asked them too, that I’m in Manali, that you can send somebody to take my statement, but I have not received anything after that. I am telling you, if I have said anything, which I can’t testify, which I can’t prove, and which is not in public domain, I will return my Padma Shri. She further added, “I don’t deserve it. I am not that person who will go on record (to make such statements), and everything that I have said is in public domain,” she had added.

Speaking about the medical report submitted by the AIIMS forensic panel to the CBI, Dr. Sudhir Gupta, Chairman of the AIIMS forensic medical board had told ANI, “It is a case of hanging and death by suicide. There were no injuries over the body other than hanging. There were no marks of struggle/ scuffle in the body and clothes of the deceased.”

Sushant’s family and their lawyer Vikas Singh have expressed dissent and have approached to Central Bureau of Investigation with Dr. Gupta’s report. Vikas wrote to the director of the CBI expressing doubt over the forensic report submitted by the AIIMS forensic panel in the case and demands that the "Matter needs to be referred to another forensic team to be constituted by CBI."
