Travel restrictions during the lockdown have separated families in many cases but as the restrictions begin to ease we have heard of several celebrities who traveled out of town in times of desperate need. After news of Salman Khan visiting his parents in his Bandra home or Nawazuddin Siddiqui going to U.P. to be with his mother, now actress Swara Bhasker has revealed that she traveled from Mumbai to Delhi by road after her mother suffered an injury.

The actress in a chat with TOI confirmed that she is quarantined at home and followed all safety guidelines set in place. Swara also spoke of the reason that brought her rushing back home, her mother’s injury and said, “It is a fracture of the collarbone, so her whole torso is in a brace and she has to keep her right hand and right side of the torso immobilised."

Swara who traveled from Mumbai to Udaipur and then after an overnight halt from Udaipur to Delhi said that her journey was excruciating as she traveled with five pets on the road but they were, for her benefit, well behaved.

The Veere Di Wedding actress added that she hadn’t even informed her parents of her travels, "I didn't tell my parents as I knew they'd be worried and so when I arrived in Delhi, they were both taken totally by surprise. I am so glad to be with them and be able to help my mom a bit. I'm useless in the kitchen but I help my mother to comb her hair and change clothes."
