Taapsee Pannu, Anubhav Sinha, Tisca Chopra Vouch For Anurag Kashyap, Speak The Against Misuse Of Me Too Movement

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has been accused by actress Payal Ghosh for forcing himself on her in new Me Too allegation that came to light while the actress spoke to a new channel about the experience. In a rather shocking turn of events for Anurag, the Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi actress claimed she was sexually harassed by the filmmaker at his residence after a few meetings.

Bollywood is already plagued with sufficient controversies at this hour and the allegation certainly adds to the troubles already mounting in the industry. Actress Kangana Ranaut was quick to react to the claims of Payal Ghosh and demanded that the Gangs of Wasseypur filmmaker be arrested.

Other Bollywood folks including Taapsee Pannu, Surveen Chawla, Tisca Chopra, Anubhav Sinha who are close friends of the filmmaker vehemently discredited such rumours calling the filmmaker ‘the biggest feminist’ and his film sets being the safest place for women.

Anubhav called for the responsible use of the platform called Me Too by both men and women after the allegation came to light and wrote, “It is a very very very important movement that should not be misused for any other reason but the dignity of women.”

Taapsee who made several post defending Anurag said that the filmmaker is the ‘biggest feminist’ she knows and  also responded to a user who wrote that the filmmaker’s sets are the safest saying, “he becomes the wind beneath your wings.”

Surveen Chawla also took a stand and wrote, “I have the privilege to know the real feminist in u, I take the honour my friend to stand for u!” Actress Tisca Chopra also commended the filmmaker’s generosity and decency and said “don’t know a bigger supporter of talent, men or women.”

Anurag in a few tweets responded to Payal’s allegations and said that her claims were basless.
