Taapsee Pannu Moved In To Her Own Home In Mumbai Today, Says She Always Wanted A Logo Instead Of A Name Plate

Taapsee Pannu has been one of those actresses who climed the stairs of success one step at a time. She had been a popular name in the south film industry, when she decided to make the switch to Bollywood. She worked in films like Chashme Baddoor and Baby, but it was with Pink that she became a sensation. She has shown boldness with her choice of films and has been part of many women led films. She has carved a place for herself in Bollywood now and is one of the most bankable actresses of the industry. One of the major things that she did after moving in here is buy a house for herself. It was on this day some years back that Taapsee had moved into her ‘home’ and she shared a emotional post about the same on her social media.

Talking about it, she says that she went for Manmarziyaan shot from her rented apartment and went back to her own home after the shoot. The transition happened just like that. She also revealed that she always wanted a blue door to her house and a logo instead of a name plate. In fact, she is thankful that her family helped make the house a home. She wrote, “This is the day I had my apartment in Mumbai ready, with all interior work done. It was strange that when I left for the shoot of Manmarziyaan I left from the old apartment I had taken on rent when I first moved to Mumbai n by the time I finished shooting the film n came back I entered the new apartment. Like a new chapter began just like that. It was a very seamless transition for me but it went through its share of teething issues which were all sorted by my sister n mom before I entered home. Made me realise no matter how much effort you put in, the house stays a house until it’s lived in with your family who then make it ‘Home’. That’s the blue door that I wanted for my home n keeping the ambition flying high I always wanted a logo instead of a name plate outside my house. Seeing it all come together for the first time was definitely a defining moment in a girl’s life who wanted to create her own space which she can look at every time she sets an ambitious goal and feel ‘it’s possible’.” Check out the post here:

In her last film Thappad, Taapsee’s character had said that she wants a blue door to their house. We guess it was based on reality! We wish she would give us a home tour too.
