Taapsee Pannu Reacts To Kangana Ranaut’s Claim Of Saand Ki Aankh Being Offered To Her First

When it comes to speaking their hearts out, both Taapsee Pannu and Kangana Ranaut are truly a match meant for each other. Recently, Kangana spokesperson, sister Rangoli Chandel had alleged that it was Kangana who was approached to play the lead in Saand Ki Aankh, which she declined because she thought that older actresses should play the role.

Taapsee Pannu, who finally landed the role, is busy these days promoting the film which is releasing on Diwali, reacted to these claims and had clarified the situation. Upon being asked to react on Kangana’s claim of being approached for the film, Taapsee said, “he makers must have gone to Kangana for this role. Actually, they went to half the industry as they received bizarre reasons.”

She further added, “As far as I am concerned, the makers never approached me. When I got to know that such a film was being planned, I personally reached out to them. I have no shame in admitting that. I told them that I wanted to do it. Meanwhile, it took us two years to find the parallel female lead.”

Things between Kangana and Taapsee have been tensed ever since Rangoli Chandel lambasted Taapsee for not mentioning Kangana’s name in her tweet appreciating the trailer of Judgementall Hai Kya and even called her a ‘sasti copy’ of Kangana. It remains to be seen how Kangana or Rangoli react to these statements of Taapsee.
