Thappad: Taapsee Pannu 'Is Extremely Pleased' That Smriti Irani Liked The Trailer

Taapsee Pannu’s Thappad trailer has been garnering a lot of criticism. Many people have lauded the trailer. Well, one such personality who praised Taapsee’s Thappad trailer is Smriti Irani. The actress turned union union minister had recently said that she loved the trailer of this film and would definitely take out time to watch it. 

When Spotboye got in touch with Taapsee, to know her reaction on it, she revealed that she was glad Smriti liked the trailer. The report quotes her as saying, “I am extremely pleased to know she likes the trailer n would want to watch the film. It will be a pleasure for the entire team to show her the film. I am happy we all connect on this issue."    

Well, after watching the trailer Smriti was all praises for Thappad and said that she will definitely be watching the film. Smriti took to her twitter handle and wrote, “support the political ideology of the director or may disagree with some actors on some issues"
