Taapsee Pannu Reveals She Was Slightly Nervous When She Returned To The Sets To Resume Shooting

After many months of home quarantine, our country finally began unlocking and a few of us went back to our daily routine. Well, Bollywood actors also returned to film sets after almost six months to resume shooting for their upcoming projects. While some were ecstatic about going back to work and bidding adieu to quarantine, others were worried and not up for taking risks. Taapsee Pannu, on the other hand, felt like a kid who was going back to school after vacations.

Talking about the same to TOI, the actress shared, “As a kid, I used to be excited and would look forward to returning to school after vacations. Remember that feeling when a kid goes back to school after a long break? It felt exactly like that.” However, Taapsee was anxious. She explained, “I was slightly nervous, as I hadn’t worked for five months. It made me doubt myself. I thought, ‘Would I be as good as I was, in front of the camera?’ I wondered whether I would have to start from scratch, as the craft of ‘acting’ wasn’t exercised for many months. So frankly, that little anxiety was there. But I am glad that it all went smoothly.”

Taapsee is currently in Jaipur, Rajasthan shooting for an untitled Tamil-language comedy film with South superstar Vijay Sethupathi. Other than this project, the actress has many other interesting scripts in her kitty including Haseen Dillruba opposite Vikrant Massey, Jana Gana Mana opposite Jayam Ravi, Rashmi Rocket alongside Aparshakti Khurana and Shabaash Mithu based on the life of cricketer Mithali Raj.
