Taapsee Pannu Shares Her Thoughts On Nepotism; Says ‘Being An Outsider, You Have To Be On Your Toes’

Taapsee Pannu is undoubtedly one of the most talented and adored actresses of the Indian film industry. Not only is she an exceptionally versatile performer, but is also one of the boldest personalities of Tinsel Town who doesn’t shy away from speaking her mind, even if it turns into a social media war with a fellow celeb. Well in a recent interview the actress, who has successfully carved a niche for herself in Bollywood even though she doesn’t belong to a filmy background, voiced her opinion on nepotism and stated that we keep having endless debates about insider vs outsider but there is no foolproof solution to it.

Talking to ETimes, Taapsee looked back at her journey and shared that there have been ups and downs. She stated, “My journey has been a testament to the fact that I have been patient and hard working. It is also luck because I feel 70 percent of the time it is luck that gets you films. The remaining 30 percent is how you misuse that luck. Do not take the opportunities you get for granted. Being an outsider, you have to be really on your toes because you cannot let go of even a single opportunity because you never know which opportunity will give a new direction to your career.”
