Taapsee Pannu Shares The First Poster Of Mithali Raj’s Biopic, Shabaash Mithu; Film To Release On 5th February 2021!

Taapsee Pannu seems to be on a roll. She has a number of projects lined up for release in 2020 and 2021, but what is more exciting is the fact that for the first time ever, she will play be seen in a biopic. She will play cricketer Mithali Raj in her biopic and she has also shared her look as the cricketer, along with the first poster.

Taking to social media, Taapsee wrote, ““I have always been asked who’s your favourite male cricketer but you should ask them who their favourite female cricketer is.” The statement that made every cricket lover pause n introspect that do they love the game or the gender playing it. @M_Raj 03 you are a ‘Game Changer’” Along with that, she shared her look where Taapsee looks absolutely fierce as she holds the bat with the iconic blue jersey. The film is all set to release in another year, i.e., on 5^th February, 2021. It will be directed by Rahul Dholakia, who also directed Raees. Apart from this, Taapsee has Anubhav Sinha’s Thapaad releasing this March. She will also be seen in Rashami Rocket, where she will play a sprinter. She will also be seen in Haseen Dilruba alongside Vikrant Massey.
