Taapsee Pannu to play a double role in her maiden production Blurr

Taapsee Pannu’s debut production has a lot of intrigue factor going for it as the film begins shooting. Touted to be a remake of the 2010 Spanish thriller Julia’s eyes the film many more details about the project have surfaced online since it was announced recently. Taapsee released a first look poster which revealed that the actress will be playing a blind woman in the film, which will be a first for the actress.

However, apart from the challenge of playing visually impaired, Taapsee will also be seen in a double role according to recent reports. Blurr like the Spanish thriller it is inspired by will a story of twin sisters. Taapsee has also never played a double role in a project before and it adds to both the excitement and the challenge that comes with the film.

The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah in a key role and the two co-stars shared a picture together from the sets recently looking excited as they began work.

Blurr is being produced under Taapsee’s Outsider Films in collaboration with Zee Studios. The movie will be helmed by Ajay Bahl who last directed Aksheye Khanna and Richa Chadha in Article 375 in 2019. Taapsee’s thriller is scheduled to release in 2022.
