Taapsee Pannu's Looop Lapeta Shoot Will Be Delayed Even If The Lockdown Ends Soon, Actress Reveals Why

While schools and colleges were shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, office employees were asked to work from home. Theatres were also closed down and upcoming releases along with shoots of much-awaited films were postponed till further notice. Just like many other movies, Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin’s Looop Lapeta has also been affected by the sudden outbreak of COVID-19. The team was supposed to finish shooting for the outdoor portions of the comedy-thriller before the monsoons. However, they will now have to re-work the entire schedule.

In a recent chat with Mid-Day, the actress opened up about the same and shared, “Looop Lapeta was to be shot across Goa and Mumbai. We had planned to film the outdoor portions before the monsoon, and complete the indoor portions during the rains. Now, we will have to re-work the outdoor schedule because monsoons last for four months here. When the situation returns to normal, we'll have to start the planning on every project from scratch.”

She went on to share how she’s making the most of the lockdown by gearing up for two other films in her kitty -- Rashmi Rocket and cricketer Mithali Raj’s biopic Shabaash Mithu. Taapsee revealed that she’s working out rigorously and is in constant touch with her trainer. She is resorting to floor and mat exercises and her cardio workout includes climbing the stairs.
