    Taapsee's Boyfriend Mathias Boe Seeks Intervention Against I-T Raids At Her Properties, Gets Pointed Reply From Sports Minister

    Actress Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s properties in Mumbai were raided among others on Wednesday by the Income Tax department. The matter was shaded by political opinions as the news broke out as the two celebrities who has been known to often raise their voices in opposition to the current central government. On Thursday, Taapsee’s boyfriend and badminton coach Mathias Boe tweeted about the raid and wrote about it being an ‘unnecessary stress on her family’.

    The Indian Badminton coach who is currently with the team in Switzerland for the Swiss Open sought help from Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju asking him to intervene. “Finding myself in a bit of turmoil. Representing India for the first time as a coach for some great athletes, meanwhile I-T department is raiding Taapsee’s houses back home, putting unnecessary stress on her family, especially her parents. @KirenRijiju please do something,” Boe wrote in his tweet.

    The sportsman came under attack on Twitter for connecting his duties as a sports coach to a totally unrelated matter of I-T raids at Taapsee’s properties. The former player hailing from Denmark got a sharp reply from the Sports Minister too who said that matter was beyond both their domains.

    The Minister replied to Mathias’ tweet writing, “Law of the land is supreme and we must abide by that. The subject matter is beyond yours and my domain. We must stick to our professional duties in the best interest of Indian Sports.”

    The Income Tax Department, on the other hand, reported that after conducting raids at 28 properties between Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Hyderabad of Taapsee, Anurag and other stakeholders of Phantom Films, they found discrepancies of Rs. 650 crores.
