Tadap: Suniel Shetty's father had a connection to the place son Ahan was shooting in, actor felt 'he is watching from above'

Ahan Shetty is all set for his debut with Tadap, which would hit the theatres on 3rd December. The film is a remake of RX 100. In the film, Ahan character Ishana is shown to be an owner of a cinema hall in Mussoorie. As a part of the shot, a location in Mumbai was recreated and replicated for the same. But as fate would have it, the location that the makers had selected had a special connection with Ahan's grandfather, Verappa Shetty.

Talking to Zoom, director Milan Luthria recalled how Suniel Shetty visited the sets on the first day of shoot and instantly got emotional. He recalled,"We were shooting there and it was the first day. Suniel and his wife (Mana Shetty) came to wish us. And he (Suniel) was very emotional. He took me aside and said that his father (Veerapa Shetty) had started his life in a small canteen in the same cinema. And he said that 'I don't know whether its destiny or I don't know what it is, he is watching from above, that of all the places, without even me telling you, you chose this particular place where I used to come as a child and have my lunch and help my father'."

Well, that's what is called fate. Ahan Shetty had revealed that he had been prepping for his Bollywood debut for a long time and got the film on his own merit, without his father's help. The film stars Tara Sutaria opposite the debutant actor.
