Tamannah Bhatia To Replace Mouni Roy In Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Bole Chudiyan.

Last month after the announcement was made that Mouni Roy is no longer a part of Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Bole Chudiyan. The filmmakers decided to find a new female lead for the film.  Now, reports have confirmed that Tamannaah Bhatia has been starred in to play the female lead opposite Nawazuddin.

Mouni had walked out of Bole Chudiyan after her disagreements with producer  Rajesh Bhatia. The film’s producer Rajesh Bhatia called  Mouni ‘irresponsible and unprofessional for quitting the film’ while her spokesperson claimed that Mouni had to let go of the film “because of the discrepancies in it”. Earlier it was also reported that Shraddha Kapoor would star opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film.

Tamannaah Bhatia confirmed the news to Bombay Times and stated, “I’m looking forward to this project. The script is good, and this is the first time I will be attempting such a multi-layered character in a mainstream Bollywood film. What really caught my attention was the story, was the storyline of the film which is based on a prevalent issue that grips society at large even today. My character is authentic and quite contrary to what I am in reality. It’s something I will be experimenting for the very first time.

”Nawazuddin Siddiqui also added, “I’m so happy and satisfied with this casting and looking forward to work with Tamannaah. I feel she is the correct and the perfect choice for this role.”

Director Shamas Siddiqui said in a statement that  “Tamannaah has that spark in her eyes and dedication which I was looking for in my heroine.”

As per recent reports, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will also reportedly be seen doing a cameo in the film. He stated, “Yes, I am doing the film, but that’s all I know for now. I have agreed to do the film as this is the first time Nawaz has asked me to do anything and I trust him.”

Bole Chudiyan will be directed by Shamas Siddiqui and the shooting of the film will start soon in Rajasthan. We can't wait to see if Tamannah and Nawazuddin make a good pair on screen?
