Popular South Indian actress Amala Paul tied the knot to singer Bhavninder Singh. Despite advisory from the government to not hold weddings amidst the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the couple apparently secretly tied the knot recently in the presence of their close friends and family.

The singer shared several pictures of the wedding on social media only to take them down later. The news however spread like wildfire and the pictures were shared widely online. The wedding was a complete traditional Rajasthani affair or it is what it seems from the pictures. Amala looked breathtaking in a blue ghargra choli while Bhavninder was dressed in a traditional yellow Rajasthani outfit.

There were reports that claimed that the couple had been living in together for some time now and decided to make the plunge. Amala Paul was previously married to filmmaker Vijay in 2014 but they got divorced in 2017. This is the second marriage of the actress.

Speaking of weddings, the coronavirus spread that has been forcing entire cities to lock down was also reported to be the reason behind the postponement of Varun Dhawan’s wedding with his long time girlfriend Natasha Dalal. The wedding was reported to be in May but now has been pushed. Bollywood actors Richa Chaddha and Ali Fazal who were also to tie the knot in April confirmed through their spokesperson that they would now plan a wedding the second half of the year.
