    The actress has now spoken up against the Bollywood actors silent on the violent attack on JNU students that happened on 5 January and called them ‘eunuchs’.

    In an interaction with IANS, Tanushree said, "Men in Bollywood only know how to gang up against women and youngsters, take away their work and livelihood, and throw insults at them. They don't know how to stand with women and young people and support them for justice. Don't expect much from these Bollywood muscle men. All their machismo is only for show and box-office ticket sales. They are more like eunuchs in real life. In fact, I think eunuchs have more male integrity than our Bollywood heroes."

    Megastars like Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and others have remained silent on the matter. It has been celebs like Deepika Padukone, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Richa Chadha, Dia Mirza, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Taapsee Pannu, Anubhav Sinha, Vikrant Massey, Swara Bhasker who have expressed their concerns on the matter.
