Tanushree Dutta Reacts To Amitabh Bachchan Calling Her Brave On KBC

It was an empowering moment on KBC when Amitabh Bachchan appreciated actress Tanushree Dutta. One of the questions on the show asked the contestant the voice of the former beauty queen and actress who started the #MeToo movement in India and while talking about it Amitabh Bachchan said, “Yes, very very brave.”

When contacted by a popular entertainment portal, Tanusree Dutta reacted to the episode. She said, “That was cool and I'm glad.” She further added, “I did not see the episode where I was discussed. A friend of mine sent me a clip, which is when I actually learned about it. I am happy that my voice was put on such a big show. I was surprised that the contestants recognized my voice, normally voices of iconic singers, politicians, and actors are recognized. I am happy that my voice has reached out to people and it has a recall value.”

For the uninitiated, Tanusree Dutta started the #MeToo when she brave decision of giving an explosive interview in which she talked about how Nana Patekar harassed her on the sets of Horn Ok Please. Her revelation emboldened many other women to come forward and share their experiences of facing sexual predators in the industry.
