Thalaivi: The Climax Of The Kangana Ranaut Starrer To Be Shot With CGI Instead Of Real Crowd

Kangana Ranaut had been working extra hard for her upcoming film, Thalaivi. The actress will portray actress turned politician Jayalalitha in her biopic. Not only has she been taking Bharatnatyam lessons, but had also been on medicines to gain weight for her part. It was said that the climax of the film would be larger-than-life, with more than 300 people gathering up to form a real crowd. However, looking at the current situation, the makers have decided to take another route.

According to a report in Spotboye, the makers have finally decided to go for CGI, an idea which they had been resisting so far. A source told the portal, “It’s going to be months if not years before any filmmaker can shoot large crowds and mobs. We might as well get used to making do with CGs.”

The producer of the film, Shailesh Singh said, "Most of the public speeches of Jayalalalithaji had been already shot. Only few such scenes are left, which we will shoot now. It will be according to Covid guidelines. In those shots, if required, we will definitely use CG."

Well, we just hope that the film is made perfectly and we would be looking forward to seeing Kangana portray Jayalalitha to perfection on-screen. The actress will also be seen in Tejas and Dhakaad.
