Thappad Star Taapsee Pannu Reveals Why She Keeps All Her Trophies In Her ‘Treasure Box’

Taapsee Pannu is a phenomenal performer and when a hard working actor gets their due, it truly warms the hearts of all their fans. So, her fans and followers on social media were obviously over the moon with joy when the actress lifted the Award for Best Actress at the 66th Vimal Elaichi Filmfare Awards 2021 for her spectacular performance in Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad. The drama bagged the Best Film award and also won big in other categories such as Best Story and Best Editing.

In a recent chat with Spotboye post her win, Taapsee shared that while she is glad she won Best Actress, what makes her happier is that the team won big. She shared that Thappad made it big because it touched so many people deeply. The actress stated, “Of course I feel grateful but primarily so soooo thrilled because so many from our team won awards. The people who were the backbone of the film. And it won best film. Nothing tops that. Filmmaking is all about team spirit. No team, no movie.”

Talking about how she stores all her trophies, the beauty revealed that she has a separate box which she keeps away from her and everybody else’s sight. She explained, “I don’t want to forget living my life normally and looking at the trophies staring at me all the time and building performance pressure. So I keep them in my own little treasure box.”
