The Girl On The Train Trailer: Netizens Were Right To Call This Parineeti Chopra’s Comeback Film

When the teaser and first look of Parineeti Chopra’s next film The Girl On The Train were revealed, fans were over the moon with joy to see the actress portray such a different character. Many even predicted that the mystery thriller, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, will mark Parineeti’s comeback. Well, the trailer was shared by the makers today and we couldn’t have agreed more! She looks deadly as Mira Kapoor and we can’t wait to see her shine in the Netflix original on 26^th February.

The trailer begins with Mira looking out of the window of a train at a girl, Aditi Rao Hydari, who is standing on her balcony. Mira reveals that she sees her everyday and is reminded of her own past. She then goes into flashback mode and recalls beautiful moments with her on-screen husband Avinash Tiwary and their happy life, before he met with an accident. The next sequence is an absolute blur. Aditi has been murdered and Mira is the suspect, but she doesn’t remember anything. Hence begins her journey to unravel the truth.

Judging by the trailer, all the actors have portrayed their parts very convincingly. May it be Kirti Kulhari as a British cop, Avinash as Parineeti’s on-screen husband or Aditi-- they have outdone themselves! Parineeti, on the other hand, will leave you sympathizing with her character because of her solid performance and killer expressions. As a side note-- Avinash and Parineeti look adorable as a couple, even though we got to see only a few glimpses of them together in the trailer. All in all, this film is going to be pretty exciting to watch. Can’t wait!
