The Immortal Ashwatthama is back on track, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan to reunite after Laxman Utekar's rom-com?

Fans were excited when a collaboration of the Uri duo- director Aditya Dhar and actor Vicky Kaushal was announced. The film was titled The Immortal Ashwatthama and it would have been a sci-fi film. Sara Ali Khan was also roped in opposite Vicky. However, the film was put on hold due to budget issues and many feared that despite the great concept, it won't be revived. However, it is time for fans to cheer since the film is back on track.

If a report in Pinkvilla is to be believed, then The Immortal Ashwatthama will go on floors later next year. A source was quoted saying, “Director Aditya Dhar has started getting his team back together, and the pre-production work has begun again. A large team of concept artists is working on the film, while Aditya and his team will revisit some of the international locations again in some time for finalising them. The makers plan to take the film on the floors by 2022 end.”

Currently, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan are both busy, The duo will share screen together for one more film before they start working on Ashwatthama. This one would be a romantic comedy directed by Laxman Utekar, who has earlier helmed films like Luka Chuppi and Mimi. Earlier, speaking about Ashwatthama, Vicky has said, “There will be a better time to make that film. More than disheartening, it is that thing that any film should be made at the best time for that film. Every time the film is bigger than me or any individual attached to the film. So, we have to choose a time that justifies making that film. So, we are waiting for that time to come.” Are you excited?
