The Immortal Ashwatthama: Sara Ali Khan & Vicky Kaushal To Begin Shooting The Superhero Film In June

Back in January, on the 2^nd anniversary of URI-The Surgical Strike, Bollywood heartthrob Vicky Kaushal surprised his fans and followers with two incredible posters of his upcoming film, The Immortal Ashwatthama. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the much awaited masterpiece is expected to raise the bar higher for the superhero genre not only in India but across the world. While Vicky’s prep for the film has been on for some time now, his leading lady Sara Ali Khan will begin training in the month of April.

According to a report shared by Pinkvilla, Vicky and Sara are expected to take the film on floors in the month of June and makers want the filming to take place abroad. A source was quoted saying, “Sara will be seen in some hardcore action sequences in the film and will start training for the same from April. She will learn a few forms of martial arts, including MMA, and will learn to ride a horse too. Vicky too will be a part of these sessions, and their training is expected to go on for three months.”

Vicky is currently busy with Yash Raj Films’ upcoming mad cap comedy in which he will share the big screen with beauty queen Manushi Chhillar. The project is tentatively being called The Great Indian Family or TGIF, and will hopefully arrive in theatres in early 2022.
