The Sky Is Pink Day 3 Box-Office: The Priyanka Chopra Starrer Collects 10.7 Crores On The First Weekend!

The Sky Is Pink had Priyanka Chopra’s comeback film in Bollywood after Jai Gangajal. The actress teamed up with Farhan Akhtar for this film that is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary’s parents- Aditi and Niren Chaudhary. The film had got a standing ovation at the Busan International Film Festival and people had been waiting to see it after its theatrical release. But looks like The Sky had turned out to be a very niche film with just a few takers.

The Sky Is Pink has shown negligible growth on Sunday. The Saturday collections stood at 4 crores and the film collected another estimated 4.20 crores on Sunday, i.e., on Day 3 as well. The total collection of the film after the first weekend stands at 10.70 crores only.

Well, the main reason for the slow growth is the fact that The Sky Is Pink is an extremely niche film that would have takers only in urban areas, mostly the metros. On top of that, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War has been trending at the box-office even on the second weekend.
